My lineage is William Absher Sr. b:abt.1769; m:Nancy Jennings before 1820; d:1842 in Wilkes County, North Carolina.

Allen Absher b:1825 in North Carolina; m:Clarissa in 1795; d:??

Jacob Absher b:1825 in Virginia; m:Rebecca Collins 1878; d:after 1900 in Sciota, Ohio.

William Joshua Absher/Abshire b:1850 in Paintsville, Johnson County, Kentucky; m:Viola Adkins 1895; d:1929 in Midkiff, Lincoln County, West Virginia.

Elizabeth Abshire b:1903 in Midkiff, Lincoln County, West Virginia; d:1977 in Carey, Idaho.

Virginia Abshire Jarvis b:1924 in Midkiff, Lincoln County, West Virginia; m: Bertram James Jarvis 1953; still living in Salt Lake City, Utah.

One of Elizabeth Jane Abshire's nephew's in this line is Louis Douglas Abshire (b:1930 in Newport, Campbell County, Kentucky). This person couldn't be the same Lewis you have. However, way back in the North Carolina Absher's/Abshire's we might be able to find a match???
