This Abshire line is also in my ancestor lineage. I was told by a woman who had done extensive research on the Abshires that this line in Louisiana is from the "other Abshire's" yet her research leads me to the same family cemetary that my ancestors are buried in. I have to wonder what "other Abhsire's" she was referring to. Her snobbish remarks caught me so offguard that I was left speechless. Should you find these Abshires, please email me as soon as possible!
