I have a land grant #5496 in state of North Carolina to WILEY P ABSHER 23rd Dec 77th year of our independence, entered on October the 29th 1850 in Mulberry Creek on the line of ELIZABETH ABSHER. I believe this to be an ancestor as land is still in family. I may have found the connection if some tenative connections can be proved. JOHN F.WALKER m NANCY ABSHIRE 14 Aug 1852 m 19 Aug 1852 with W.P.ABSHIRE as bm from a book of marriages/with L Sebastian JP. Do you have any info on these persons? WM. may have been his son whom may have married MARTHA HUTCHINSON child MYRTIS WALKER...Haynes My Grandmother.
