Louisa Jane Cossler married James Abshire (Abshier) in Spencer Co. IN in 1833..she later married James Sloan in Hancock Co. KY in 1842. From her marriage to James Abshire, she had two sons: 1. James W. Abshire, born @ 1833-34..and 2. Joshua C. Abshire, born @ 1834-35. Joshua C. Abshire married Jane Anne Pate in Hancock County, KY on December 23, 1857. At this time, I have not been able to find any other information (such as marriage information)for James W. Abshire. I am always interested in hearing from any Abshire's with Hancock County (Daviess Co, KY) heritage. Marilyn Cossler Garrison
