I found the information I needed on the marriage of Louisa J. Cosler and James Abshier. It took place in Spencer Co. IN in 1833..somehow, the person doing the indexing of the early marriages mistakenly wrote Carter instead of Cosler..and it took me awhile for it to "click in".
