Debbie, We are probably related. My great-great grandfather was also from Indiana. I have been told his name was Clark Abshier. I know he had a brother but do not know his name. John Stevenson Abshier was born in Rockport, Indiana - Spencer County in 1867. I have been told that his mothers name was Mary Gettings. I am trying to locate any one with any information on the Abshiers from Indiana. Thanks and if any of this sounds familiar please reply. Elaine Abshier Long
