I have a John Absher b cir 1820 in Franklin County, VA m Nancy Horton b cir 1832 in NC. They were in the 1870 Bland County, VA Census, Seddon Township. John's brother Edward moved to Nacogoches County, TX. I never tried to trace John, but prehaps he moved to TX also.
