My grandparents Augustinho Freitas de Abreu
and Maria de Abreu, came to the Hawaiian
Islands in 1906, where they resided until
their deaths in 1943. My grandfather was
born August 23, 1879, in Funchal, Madeira Is. Portugal. His father was Augustinho Freitas de Abreu also.
