Rafael,
From what part of Cuba was your family from. There were some Abreu's in Cuba which were connected with the Gonzalez-Abreu at one time and I think at one point some drop the Gonzalez. They arrived in Cuba at the end of the XVIII century, they were from Realejo de Arriba from the island of Tenerife. Let me know where your family in Cuba lived and also what was your grandmother's last name.
