Thanks very much for the information, it is quite interesting. Once I was convinced that the Abreu in Isabela and Hatillo were the same family. I called several of the members from Isabela to find out the oral family history. Some of them agreed, but most disagreed. I am convinced thy are two different families.

When the family group from Hatillo landed in PR,(Don Domingo Abreu Delgado and his wife, María Mercedes Reyes Mejías and their sibblings: Domingo, María, Alejandro, Luisa, Rafaela, Bernardina, Liboria and Josefa), around 1840, satayed with the family in Isabela for a while, and finally moved on to Hatillo.
