hi maxine,
i received your message. Actually, I have never looked into my paternal ancestry, my father claims that my granparents and their parents were both from the azores. However, i beleive they migrated to the azores only a generation before from where i do not know. I wonder if you would know where i could start looking for background of the abreu's here in hawaii?
