Hello,
My Mothers' maiden name is Abrego.
Her brother is Federico and Monoco.
She was born in El Ranchito 1936, Texas
from Esperanza Abrego (born 1913)
Esperanza siblings were: Rebecca, Beatrice, Manuel, and Julio. They were born of Arturo Abrego (born in Texas) and Guadalupe Perez.
Arturo's parents were Julio Abrego (born in Texas when it was Mexico) and Flora. I have copies of historical census if interested.
My mom's father was quite unknown.
We know that Her father was the same father as her brother, Federico. My Mom remembers that her birth father use to visit her when she was 6 or 7 years. Her mother, Esperanza, died when my mom was 9 years and the visitations ceased. The birth certificate says Rafael Isazi. Esperanza and Rafael never were married, But from doing some research, that name only exists in Texas as YSASI. In the 1950's a woman came up to my mom and said she was her half sister, her name was Marina, she told my mom that her father was also Rafael (isazi) sp? after that meeting her aunt Rebecca told her never to talk to her again. From what I know was that Rebecca was compandres with Rafael and his wife.
I hope I didn't open up any skeletons in any closests, but I would like to know more about my Mother's Birth father.
