My grandmothers maiden name is Ignacia Abrego. She is deceased but I would still love to find out all I could about her liniage. What I know of her is that her fathers name is Valentin Abrego and her mother's name was Monica Aguirre. I believe their ancestors were from Allende, Los Ramones Nuevo Leon Mexico. My grandmother Married Jesus Alvarado in a town called Mecuaniate now know as Congregacion Hidalgo, Los Ramones Nuevo Leon Mexico. I'm sorry but I don't have any dates. My grandmother had two daughters with my grandfather. My mother was the oldest, Estefana Alvarado Abrego and Jesusa Alvarado Abrego, my aunt. I have been told that there is a link, although I don't know how, to a Joaquin (joachin)de Escamilla Abrego and a Antonia Benavides of Spanish origins.
