I am trying to find information on the Abramson family in New York City. My father is Harry Abramson (age 79). He is an only child, the son of Ben Abramson and raised by Ben’s brother, his uncle Harry Abramson. His uncle Harry was a bookie in both Saratoga, NY and Florida following the horse racing seasons in the 1910’s and 1920’s. He does not have contact with ANY of his relatives but remembers several aunts and uncles who would have been born in and around the turn of the century including Mo Abramson, David Abramson (who had a son named Aaron Abramson), Annie Abramson, Bessie Abramson and another sister. My father does not know the first name of his grandfather Abramson but knows that he was in NY at the turn of the century and had something to do with horse racing/stables on the lower east side.
