Bob: Maurice Abramson was born in July 1918. He and my father, his first cousin, were very close, and I have great memories of Maurice. However, the note in my family tree program says that Maurice committed suicide, though I don't indicate any source to substantiate. He was 50 when he died.
I also remember that Rita and Robert were close as children. But, when queried, Robert didn't even know her married name.
I agree that it's important to keep track of meaningful people in our lives. Earlier this week I got in touch with a 2nd cousin whom I hadn't heard from in 50 years!
