participants listed now in the global database (Ysearch).
If participants don't get listed in the global database,
the information is lost to the larger genealogical
community. Please make sure that anyone participating in
this project also knows that they should take a few
minutes to list their information on Ysearch ( http://www.ysearch.org/ ). You can also do it for them yourself by rather laborious manual entry, if the problem is computer literacy. It could be that some of your participants already have information that would show some interesting connections, but they don't know about such connections because they didn't list their information on the global database.
For example, the descendent of ABRAMS Sr. of Turkyfoot, whom you mention, is apparently not listed in Ysearch.
The haplogroups of the few who are listed on Ysearch are all over the map, suggesting widely varied origins for some of the various ABRAMS lines.
At the very least, what is the haplogroup of the descendent of ABRAMS Sr. of Turkyfoot?
Thanks for your work on this Y-DNA question. It is great that we have this tool to help settle this issue.
