Alice, I have watched your messages for awhile now. I wish I could help more. I am part of the Joseph Abrams and Lucinda family, altho I descend from his brother Gabriel (1818 - abt 1885, md Maria Mills).
Do you have any access to Abrams desc? This would be an excellent use of the DNA technology. Altho it wouldnt prove who Benjamin's father was, it would let you know if you were looking at the right family of Abrams.
