I have my grandfathers death cert which states he father was Clarence Abrams born NY (1857/8) mother Mary E Smith born approx 1861 LI, NY. Can't find out anything else on Clarenc. I am in the process of sending for a marriage certificate for my grandfather to see maybe I can gleen more information. Maybe his dad was just called Clarence, it might be his middle name. I don't know but I have been stuck here and can't go back further. I know my mom was the 16th generation born in NY.
Can anyone suggest anything else?
