Marie, I just found a paper written by my Grandmother, Blanche (Mrs. Harry Abrams)of Columbia City, Indiana; which has many names and dates of births and deaths. I believe that John H. was my great grandfather, Sylvester's brother. I have John's birthday as March 21, 1854; death July 28, 1928. I believe the parents were James and Barbara Abrams (do not know her maiden n.) Sisters:Elizabeth, born 10-22-1841, died 5-4-1925; Mary, born 10-12-1844, died 10-?-1926; Margaret C.born 2-24-1857,death 9-6-1915, Flora Bell, born 5-12-1859, death 9-16-1893;Barbara, born 12-21-1862, died 12-15-1928;Laura, born 3-4-1864, died 12-24-1947/ brothers:Sylvester, born 10-18-1846, died 2-22-1906; Stephen, born 1-07-1849, died 4-17-1931; Cornelius born 8-21-1851, died3-24-1923; and possibly 3 more (mouse chewed on paper) plus twin brothers James McClellan and William E. born 7-29-1861, died 9-11 & 9-22-1861, respectively.
I am so new at this genealogy that I hope someone will help me fill in some gaps. Have many photos of these people, some I can't identify. Will upload with scanner and share all other info. Please write! Delores
