Guess what Diane Nance found!

"Druzilla and William Forsythe married by William Spencer, J.P. Dursil daughter of James and Mary Abrams Spencer."

Somewhere she has the original marriage record -- she's going to send me a copy when she finds it.

So I've been checking in the IGI for a Mary Abrams -- found a couple of christenings in Wales for the right time period, and also in Lancashire -- where there is a James Spencer chr. in 1730, s/o James Spener! And on his tombstone, James Spencer is called "James Spencer Jr."

Now I can hardly wait to go back to Salt Lake City and dig around in the English & Welch records and see what I can find!

Wheee! At last, after all these years of researching Abrams, I finally found out I DO have an Abrams ancestor!
