I have finally received a response from my grandmother, and I'm sorry to say she had never heard any of these names, either in Bucharest or in Piatra Neamt, where she grew up. I do, however plan to go to Romania myself this summer and would be interested to investigate the family name anyway, so I'll keep the sisters' in mind. In addition, I'm not sure where you may have seen the name written, but my family writes it Abramoviçi (pronounced the same way), which I believe is the more primary Romanian spelling. You might have more luck searching with that spelling.
