Trying to track down info on my Abrahams ancestors and descendants. Any help gratefully received!
Great x 3 grandfather was Alfred Abrahams who lived in the mid North region of SA .Mainly centred around Port Pirie, Port Augusta , Stirling North. I believe some of the family may have worked for the railways in the region. Had a son Albert Joseph Abrahams b. c 1854/55 married Feb 12 , 1884 in the district of Frome, South Australia . He married Alice Cummings/Cummin/Cumming (take your pick!)Her father was Richard.
They had three known children
Agnes Alice Abrahams 1890
Alice Beatrice Abrahams 1886
Louisa Victoria Abrahams 1885
Agnes Alice married William John Laing and had three daughters.
