I have tons of information on Charles Abrams' descendents, much of which is now posted at Clay Abrams' webpage (look for his address at the Abrams Forum - just tell that Forum to search for Clay). And I'm always willing to share knowledge.
I only know about Mary and Thomas because a record mentioned him as being the brother-in-law of Charles. I believe I saw that on the CD: Genealogies of Long Island Families. I sure I have a copy of the page somewhere here.
We don't know where Mary and Charles came from - they just 'popped' up in Hempstead in the late 1600's. We suspect they are of Dutch origin, possibly born in Brooklyn, or perhaps they immigrated.
If they are Dutch, they are likely the children of Abraham _______ somebody. I have searched some Dutch baptisms in Brooklyn looking for a Charles, son of Abraham; but have had no luck.
Email me privately, if you wish. I'll be happy to help you in anyway I can.
