Hello Grace,
I had a look to see if I could find your James Abrahams in Leeds. Of all the Abrahams that showed only one matched with Leeds= James ABRAMS.
I found James, aged 1 year in the 1881 British census.
Do you think the name was originally spelt Abrams and not Abrahams?
Are any of the names familiar to you on the census?
