Hi,
I'm searching for information on Marguerite Abraham, a Fille du Roi who arrived in Quebec in 1665. She is the daughter of Godegrand/Godefroy Abraham (sometimes dit Desmarais)and Denise Fleury. The family lived in St-Eustache in Paris. Abraham was a maitre pourpointier (a person who sells doublets or coats). I'm particularly interested in the Abraham-Desmarais line, as well as the Fleury family. As far as I know Denise Fleury's origins are unknown. I have not been able to find records of her parents or siblings. If anyone could help me out in my search, it would be very much appreciated.
