Abraham ancestry seems to come from many countries. For the English branch, it seems that they may have originated from the village of Edburgham (a Saxon name), now called Abram (near Wigan, Lancashire), and spread from there to Buckinghamshire (amongst others). There is a very speculative family story that an inn-keeper with this surname was living in Kent, England in the 14th century. Notify Administrator about this message?
