Hello I had to change the information I had on my Grandmother Violet Pearl Abraham as I was given wrong information that lead no where with replies from others that were not of any use. Even her death certificate has the wrong date of birth and name listed on it.
I am trying to apply for my Treaty Card or Native Status Card and need to verify my Grandmother's name and birthdate also the Band Name or number of that Band.
If anyone has information on Violet Pearl Abraham born March 3rd, 1903 in Ontario as a Native Mohawk person please contact me with any information that you have as to the history or ancestors that may link to my proof of Native Bloodline.
Father's name William George Abraham, but used surname of Wilson either through adoption or Foster parents.
He was born July 22, 1925 in Kingston area on a Reservation most likely Deseronto, Ontario, but name of Tribal Band Name is unknown to me.
If anyone has information of a Mohawk Chief in that area other than Chief Maracle I would appreciate the name of that Chief as he signed my Sister's and Brother's treaty cards and I need to get in touch with him myself to apply for my own treaty card.
