Ayers Bramble married Nancy Abraham, June 7, 1832 in Dearborn County, Indiana.
A sketch by Reverend Silas Bennett is quoted in the manuscript, "Early History of Madisonville, Ohio" by Mrs. C. Jones. It includes a list of early settlers who were members of the Methodist Church in 1801. They included:
"Joseph and Rachel Ward, Stephen Wood and wife, Betsey Ward, Benjamin Muchmore and wife, Elom and Margaret Bramble, parents of the late A.L. Bramble, Mary Bramble, wife of Laban Bramble, Margaret Moore, Patrick McCollum and wife, Stephen Parsley and wife, John Castor and wife, William Robinson and wife."
