Charles Edward ABNEY of Measham Hall (b.26 Mar 1850; enumerated on the 1881 census; d.14 Feb 1914) m. 12 Jan 1878 to Sarah Alice GLIDDON (d/o Joshua GLIDDON) & had issue:

1. Evelyn Edward C. de Wiveleslie ABNEY (b.18 May 1879; d.21 May 1826) m. 24 Aug 1918 at Measham Hall, Derbyshire, Eng. to Florence BULLARD (d/o Frederick William Todd BULLARD of Boston, MA, USA) & had issue
2. Henry Charles Wootten "Harry" ABNEY (b.20 Apr 1881; d.14 Dec 1953) m. 02 Jul 1914 at Measham Hall, Derbyshire, Eng. to Janet Bentley LITTLEJOHN (d/o William LITTLEJOHN of Aberdeen, Scotland) & had issue.
