In the year Mary was borned John would have been 9 yrs old.
That one time in 1880 census is the only time I found John and Hester. John and Hester was listed as 33 in the 1880 census.My Abney line comes down with Benjamin D. Abney who come to Marshall Co. Alabama in abt. 1857 from Jackson Co., Ga.Hezekiah Abney had a son named John who was borned in abt.1802 and I think he lived in Ky. Elisha Had a John borned in abt. 1787. Benjamin Hezekiah Abney had a daughter named Mary Jane Abney borned abt.1839 in Jackson Co., Ga.
