Janine, No I haven't seen any proof that Judith was actually a Graves. I don't know where that information started. It could have been a part of the fiction that claimed that Judith & Amelia were sisters. Have you tried to find the marriage certificate in Madison county, Kentucky where Judith and Joseph Clark were possibly married. I'm guessing Madison county since that is where my Wallis J. Clark, Sr. was born in 1802. I have not ever heard that Judith was possibly an indian. In researching my Graves line through Amelia, I have found that there were some Graves in Georgia at the time. Additionally, a Johnston cousin of mine thinks that Judith's parents were possibly William B. Graves & Easter A. Butner. However, again we have no proof of this so don't record that information as fact. Hopefully we can eventually find out the truth on all of this and correct all of our speculation.
