Anyone researching Capt. Nathaniel Abney, b. Arp 4, 1734, VA, who married Isabella Madison, b. Sep 4, 1740, VA. Married Apr 15, 1758 Augusta Co, VA and moved to Edgefield County, SC. He had land grants in SC 1763 and 1766 (land adjoining Dannett Abney). Some think Dannett is his father, but another source says William Abney who m. Sarah Spraggins.
