first Abney in America?

I checked the site suggested by Gina Abney

(very sophisticated site!)

It looks as though Danette Abney was the first Abney to come from England. He was born in England and died in Virginia. He lived from 1658-1731.
Can anyone confirm this information, or does anyone have any interesting info to add about Danette's "coming to America" ?
