I had wondered where all those family birthdates and death dates came from, now I can understand.
Do you know where a copy of that family bible might exist? My great grandfather, John E. Davidson, married Martha Elizabeth Abney in Muscogee County, GA and took in a large group of A. P. Abney's children into his household to raise apparently. John served in the Civil War, then moved on North to Marshall County, AL. I would hope there might be something in that bible about the Abney and maybe the Davidson family.
I had heard A. P. lived in a county over into AL for a while before his death and when he died, John was instrumental in getting the family back to GA and settled in Muscogee County.
Can you tell me about the Bible?
