My line of Abney, Joshua and Patsy (Phelps)moved from Butler co, KY to CLark co, IL about 1830. In the late 1830's, they were in Posey co, IN. I think some of their kids were married there and stayed, when Joshua, Patsy, and his son Silas moved to Jefferson co, IL in about 1840. He is buried there in the Abney graveyard in Nason. I wasn't able to untangle the people left in Posey co; just noted there were some there later.
