Charity was the daughter of Nathaniel Abney and Lucy Norrel Brothers Paul Collins born 1778 in Barnwell South Carolina. Joseph born 1783 in Barnwell South Carolina went to Liberty County, Georgin where he died in 1808. Robert born 1783 and died possibly before 1808. Nathaniel Jr. was adopted born 1788 in Barnwell, South Carolina died 1870 at his sons home in White County, Illnois.
Charity born 1808 in Barnwell, South Carolina, married to Absolom Dean and had issue.
