There is mention on an Abney Family Researcher web page of a marriage between Samuel Abney (son of Dannett and Cassandra, grandson of George and Unity) and Mary Riley. But no dates, locations, or any other information is given. Can anyone tell me more about this couple? I ask because I am trying to identify the parents and ancestors of my gggf, Isaac Abner (b. 18 May 1835 TN?), whose eldest son was named John Riley Abner. Family tradition says that Isaac had uncles and cousins in Tennessee. Isaac's mother was probably named Amy (b. 24 Oct 1813). He had at least one brother named George W. Abner (b. 21 Oct 1847) and a sister, Susan (b. 15 Jul 1839).
