Am looking for John Jefferson Abney's parents. John J's father died leaving a widow and two children, John J and his sister Esther. Their mother Rebecca Jane Married Andrew J Bigum and had three more children, she died in 1870. Esther and John were born in Illinois. On Esther's death record states her mother's maiden as Bell.
