My pedigree of the Abney family goes like this:
John Abney, born 1502 in England, his son
George Abney, born 1532 in England, married Ellen Wolsey, their son
Edmund Abney born 1562 in England, married Catherine Ludlam, and their son
Paul Abney born 1588 Leicester, England, died 1634, married Mary Brooksby, and their son
George Abney born 1613 in England married Bathusa, and their son
Dannett Abney bown 1645 in Leicester, England, married Mary Lee (or Leigh) and their daughter
Mary Abney born 1709 in Virginia, USA.
I have seen pedigrees that do not agree with this, and I am concerned that my pedigree may not be correct. Hoping someone who has done extensive research on this family can let me know where I have gone wrong or am correct.
