I am looking for fellow descendants of John "the Hatter" Abney of Augusta County, Virginia. John's dates are 1745-1788, and he married Isabella Van Lear. Children, some of whom migrated to Kentucky, are John Key, married Tamar Robinson, William, married Elizabeth McClenahan, Patsey, md. Peter Hog, Sarah, md. Robert McClenahan, Margaret, md. Philip North, Nancy, md. John Fackler, and Polly.
