Abney of 1366 Abraham was not a son of George m. Unity. He was son of Dannett Abney Sr. His baptismal record proves that as he was baptized in Virginia December 27,1702 in Abingdon Parish, Glouchester County. George and Abraham were brothers, sons of Dannett Abney Sr. and wife Mary. There is a book out that has all of the Abney family history and is documented from Dannett Sr. to George's family. George m. Unity had sons: Samuel m. Martha Hamilton; Dannett m. Cassandra; William m.1. Mary Clark 2. Elizabeth Burnham; Capt. Nathaniel m. Isabella Madison; Michael m. Ann Turner and daughter Dorcas m. Mattox Mayes. You need to contact Abney Brewer in Houston for a copy of the book just published. Notify Administrator about this message?
