My Dr. Abraham and Malchijah's grandfather, William, were brothers both sons of George & Unity. Most of the Abneys in southeast Louisiana are in my line and descendents of Jessie Mercier Abney, of Jasper Co., MS., who settled in the Covington area after the War.
