i wonder: could nathaniel and lucy abney be the parents of elizabeth ?abney, putative wife of elias wills (1730-1805)? one daughter mary (molly) married col richard napier (1747-1823 tenn.), the son of martha claiborne & patrick napier. she was the daughter of col. thomas claiborne of king william co, associate of abraham abney. among the daughters of elias & elizabeth wills was a lucy. three of the daughters named their eldest daughters elizabeth dancy, which may be a clue to an earlier abney marriage: lucy's mother? abrahams wife? any thoughts?
