I should have also added to my message that Joshua Abney (married to Mary Ann Helms), the son of George Abney, served in the War of 1812.
George, son Joshua, and grandson Hezekiah all moved from TN to Indiana along with members of the Helms family, and Humble(s) family. George arrived in Hamilton County, IN about 1828 and, reportedly, was in the Revolutionary War.
