I will provide you with some links. Some of these you may have seen, others may be new. Hope this helps you in your research. I'll post others if I run into somthing I forgot.

But first here is how I am connected with the abney Family
Dannett
Abraham        b. abt 1702
William        b. abt 1740 Virginia
Paul Abney. Sr b. Tennessee
                     Joshua Abney b. 1812 Illinois

Elizabeth Jane Abney (daughter of Joshula, born 5 feb 1836 Illinois
Elizabeth married my Great Great Grandfather William Marion Glenn in Shawneetown, Illinois in 1830

The first link is from “My Southern Family). It is a very comprehensive Abney site that begins with Dannett ABNEY “the Immigrant” our shared ancestor. You can see your Martha and my Abraham as two of Dannett’s children.

My line:
       Dannett
              Abraham        b. abt 1702
                     William        b. abt 1740 Virginia
                            Paul Abney. Sr b. Tennessee
                                   Joshua Abney b. 1812 Illinois

Elizabeth Jane Abney (daughter of Joshula, born 5 feb 1836 Illinois
Elizabeth married my Great Great Grandfather William Marion Glenn

Another one that takes you waaaaaay back in the Abney line is on the next link. The problem with this one it does not list all children of each generation but only the one continuing our line. Reads like the biblical John begat, Paul, who begat George, who begat Peter, etc. It’s interesting, but not much use to those who want to put together the whole Abney tree.

This next one you can print a huge book on the Abney family. More information than I could ever use. When you open it up scroll down to near the bottom of the page to find the Abney links.

One last one.
