Are you talking about the William Abney from Amherst Co, VA, who married 1) Millie Graves? If so, I descend through him by way of Elizabeth Abney who married Littleberry Abney (John Abney & Patman Puckett's son), and then through Elijah Abney who married Patsy Barnett, Estill Co, then through their daughter, Malinda Jane Abney who married James Puckett, Estill Co, then through their daughter, Lucy Ann Puckett who married George Washington King, Estill Co, then through Sarah Jane King, born 1890, who married Leonard Covey, 1903, then through their son, Almassa Covey (my father) who married Florence Gray, 1944, then to me, Diana Lynn Covey Frymyer (Bobby Frymyer, deceased), and 2) Bill Mussaw...I don't have anything on William other than he served in the Revolutionary War and he gave a list of his children by both Millie and the #2 wife (forgot her name right off).
