I have just started research on the ABNER family and the only information I have on them is the following.
I believe that Alexander ABNER married Ida Jane LEMONS, the daughter of Lewis/Louis LEMONS and Eva HERRING. I am not sure about whether this is her father or her mother.
Alexander's place of birth was taken from an 1860 OH Census record that shows his father Isaac ABNER living in OH, with a wife named Elizabeth (I think her maiden name is SYPHERD/SYPHERS and is Leurana Elizabeth), and a brother Robert R. who is 2 years old. Alexander ABNER is only 2 months old on the census that was taken on the 14th of June 1860 in Fayette Co., Union Township, OH. I have his birth date as 17 April 1860 and his death date as 17 June 1905.
Alexander ABNER and Ida Jane LEMONS had a daughter, Sadie Alice ABNER born 10 September 1886 in Erton, Preble Co., Ohio.
I have no other information regarding this family, and except for the 1860 OH Census nothing is documented.
If you have any more information on this family I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
