Paula, I'm trying to find the same answers also. I think I'm related to him also. John Abner born abt 1794 was my ggrandmother's brother (Mary "Polly" Abner}. There was Lewis, Malinda,William and others I don't recall. Malinda and Mary P. married the same man Enos Bartlett. Mary P. and Enos were my g-grandparents.
