I'm looking for information on my grandmother's family.  Her father's name was John W. JOHNSON (b. 1 May 1873 in Russell Co., KY; d. 1942 in Jacksonville, Morgan Co.; bur. Asbury Church Cem., Morgan Co., IL) and her mother's name was Eliza ABNER (b. 4 Aug 1874 in KY; d. 25 Jan 1970 in Jacksonville, Morgan Co., IL; bur. Asbury Church Cem., Morgan Co., IL). The children included (1) Edward W. JOHNSON (b. abt 1895 in KY), (2) Welby A. JOHNSON (b. abt 1896 in KY), (3) Eva Mae JOHNSON (my grandmother) (b. 12 Mar 1898 in Elk Spring Valley, Wayne Co., KY; d. 9 Feb 1989 in Jacksonville, Morgan Co., IL), (4) Elmer M. JOHNSON (b. abt 1899 in KY), (5) Nellie J. JOHNSON, (6) Pearl JOHNSON, (7) John Russell JOHNSON, (8) Margaret JOHNSON (b. abt 1911 in Morgan Co., IL), (9) Kenneth JOHNSON (b. abt 1913 in Morgan Co., IL), (10) Ralph JOHNSON (b. 1916 in Morgan Co., IL), and (11) Betty JOHNSON.

The family moved to Morgan County around 1900. On 23 Apr 1921, Eva Mae JOHNSON m. Walter H. MEYER (b. 17 Jul 1891 in Carlinville, Macoupin Co., IL, d. 1981 in Jacksonville, Morgan Co., IL). They resided in Jacksonville until their deaths.

I have sketchy information on the parents and siblings of John W. JOHNSON, as well. His father was Perry JOHNSON (b. VA), and his mother was Sarah DECKER (b. KY). The children included (1) John W. JOHNSON (mentioned earlier), (2) Mattie JOHNSON (who married _____ CLEMENS), (3) Josie JOHNSON (who also moved to Morgan Co. from KY and reportedly resided in Jacksonville), (4) Ethel JOHNSON (who also moved to Morgan Co. from KY and reportedly resided in Jacksonville), (5) Garfield JOHNSON (who resided in Wichita, KS), (6) Elmer JOHNSON (who resided in Allis, OK), and (7) Paul Jesse JOHNSON (who resided in Hustonville, Lincoln Co., KY).

If anyone has any information on these families, I'd love to hear from you.
