I do not have info that you seek. Was struck by name Richard (A.) Rutledge and ch.Alva May .I was b.5-16-28 in W. Monroe, La. Named for great uncle Alva Rutledge in Texas. I understand that my forbears came from the Carolinas down thru KY,AL,MS,thence to Louisiana. Was Richard's mid name Alva? I would appreciate any info that might relate.I realize that Alva is frequently a female name!! Best regards. Please respond.
